Freebie | New Year's Subway Art

Well Christmas is over... I can't believe it has come and gone by so fast! I hope everyone had a great Holiday! I don't know about you but my house seems so bare when I take my Christmas decorations down. I decided to make a New Year's Subway Poster to hopefully remedy a little of the bareness! Here is mine displayed below!

I have made this available for you use if you want! Just click on the picture below and save to your desktop. I made this 16 x 20 size, to fit in the frame in my front entryway, which can be printed at Costco for $6.99! Let me know what you think!

Custom Order | Ruffle Burlap Tree Skirt

Here is another ruffle tree skirt I finished for a custom order! I used the same technique as the first one found here. They take some time but I love making them, especially to see the finished product! This is made out of all burlap, I used the brown and white colors!

Custom Order | 3 Colored Ruffle Tree Skirt

I know I have already posted my tree skirt, but I had to post a picture of the 3 colored skirt I made for my mom! I used the exact same technique as my tree skirt (found here), only this has the 3 colors!  My mom and I were wondering how it would turn out with 3 colors and I think it looks fabulous! I just cannot get enough of these ruffles! What do you think about the 3 colors?

Photography | Christmas Pictures

I know it is a couple weeks early for wishing everyone a Merry Christmas, however, I just couldn't wait to post the most adorable picture of my baby! My great friend and most amazing photographer Jen Herem, owner of Jen Herem Photography, took this last week and I absolutely LOVE it!

Happy Holidays!

DIY | Tissue Paper Cones

Here is another Christmas project I just finished last week! First of all I printed off an absolutely fabulous free printable from here!
I had an old frame sitting in my garage which was perfect. It even had the mustard yellow mating already in it. So, I just painted the frame gray and I have a great Christmas decor item for maybe $10 total!

Next, I made tissue paper cones! It was a long process but they were well worth it! I picked colors that matched the subway art and they all look so great together!

This blue cone is my absolute favorite! To make this I cut out 1 1/2" squares of tissue paper, then you fold down the center and kind of roll it together so that all the edges are sticking up, and glue gun away! It was so fun to make!

DIY | Ruffle Tree Skirt

I am absolutely in love with the ruffle tree skirt I found on Pinterest. Mine is a little different because I used 2 colors instead of 1. Scroll through for the full tutorial and let us know what you think!
I started off by cutting my strips of fabric into 2" strips. I used an old red fabric I had in my scrap box and bought the burlap at Walmart for $2 something a yard. I used about 2 yards of each after it was done
I used my old tree skirt that I have had the past couple years and started glue gunning. No sewing involved!!!
Just start around the bottom and work your way up! It is not too hard just very time consuming.
